There’s more to Sundays than just brunch, football, and Sunday Funday—there are Bloody Marys. You can Top Chef your hungover friends and take it to the next level.
When it comes to Bloody Marys, the more the merrier.

East Coast Grill: By far the best place to get crazy with your Bloody Marys on a Sunday, East Coast offers a Make Your Own Bloody Mary bar—be sure to ask for the spiciest vodka you can stand. Toppings get crazy with things such as banana guava ketchup, orange marmalade, and Inner Beauty sauce. [1271 Cambridge St., Cambridge. @EastCoastGrill. eastcoastgrill.net]

Church: When I hear words like “deep fry,” I know I have to try the “Angel Gabriel,” which contains house-infused vodka with bacon, rosemary, peppercorns, and bay leaves. It’s then combined with house-made Bloody Mary mix. The garnish kills it with what Church calls the “Fried Baby Jesus,” a fresh cherry tomato wrapped in bacon then deep-friend. Mooo: There’s too many to choose, so the geniuses at Mooo decided to build a Bloody Mary flight that includes the Caper Mary, Hot Mary, and the Bloody Caprese. The BLT Mary doesn’t make the elite flight cut but it’s worth noting as it contains bacon-infused vodka, Mooo bloody mix, and garnished with fresh lettuce and a cherry tomato. Parlor Sports: The Thermonuclear Bloody Mary has also been hailed as a “Tailgate in a Glass” with enough hearty ingredients to stop Vince Wilfork. It contains Appalachian Thermonuclear Beef Jerky-infused vodka, house-made “mud,” horseradish sauce, and tomato juice. Garnished with jerky, pickle, olive, and a lime. Offered only at Parlor.
